I was working on my piece for the Drawgasmic show I mentioned a couple posts ago, but something was feeling very off about it, and I couldn't fix it. So I just started it over. Everything is better now. Tonight, we ink.
Yesterday I went to a used furniture store in town to see what they had in the way of couches. The place had a hobo kind of smell to it. Most of the sofas were threadbare or covered in interesting stains and ridiculously overpriced. But! The trip was not for naught. This dummy was in an upstairs back room that I probably wasn't supposed to go in, and it was creepy as all getout. So there was that.

In other news, these here paintings...
Second up was a block of Velveeta called The Undertaker and His Pals, a.k.a. my new favorite movie. It centers on an evil gang of bikers composed of an undertaker and, uh, his pals. They do crazy things, like murder hot chicks and serve parts of them up as the specials of the day at their skeezy diner, while the undertaker makes a killing (har har) burying the remains of the victims' remains and one of the pals, who is a failed medical student, gets to sharpen his surgical skills. Everybody wins! It has ridiculous villains, an even worse playboy protagonist, horrible jokes and close-up shots of innards fondling. Very groovy, recommended for those with only the most refined taste.
