wormeye + daily drawings.

wormeye
acrylic on canvas board, 8x10.

I am still doing the daily drawings! I'd just gotten behind on scanning them. For a few days I kept asking myself why the hell I was doing this, and I think you can tell I just wasn't as into it as when I first started...especially with all the other things going on right now. But I kept on and now I'm pretty much excited about the project again. 36 days so far. Perseverance!
day 28 day 29 day 30
day 31 day 32
day 33 day 34
day 35 day 36

In other news, I went on a serious apartment hunt this weekend. It's kind of been horrible, but I think I might have found a place. We'll soon see.

Farewell, October.

Halloween! I didn't do anything but hand out candy and watch movies, but I had a fantastic time. Mad Monster Party, Carnival of Souls, Eraserhead, Night of the Living Dead and a record number of trick-or-treaters. We weren't the only house in the neighborhood that decorated this year, either. One day we will infect the entire subdivision! Anyway. Here are the pumpkins I carved this year:

The wormhead one was fun. Some people thought the worms were tears, though, but these people were new. If tears looked like this I would cry all the damn time. In public. It'd be like my freshman year of high school all over again. Worms, people! Worms!
